High quality healthcare in Europe
CPME publication date: Monday, September 8, 2008CPME and CED organize the roundtable "High Quality Healthcare in Europe" on 11 September 2008 from 9h30 to 12h30 in the European Parliament, under the patronage of MEP Othmar Karas, and with the participation of MEPs Bernadette Vergnaud and Holger Krahmer.
The aim is to discuss the Commission’s recent proposal for a Directive on the Application of Patients’ Rights in Cross-border Healthcare. Representatives of the Commission and the European Parliament, of major health professionals and of patients will be putting forward their views in the debate, which will be moderated by Matthias Wismar from the European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies.
