The new European Network for Workplace Health Promotion (ENWHP) campaign “Work. in Tune with Life. Move europe” was officially launched on the 8th and 9th October 2009 by the European Commission at the joint ProMenPol/ENWHP Conference in Berlin. With this initiative, ENWHP will address the growing problem of mental illness in workplaces. Companies will have the opportunity of finding out how mental health promotion can be part of their workplace health promotion programme. The pan-European initiative aims to:

-       Increase the awareness of companies and the general public about the needs and benefits of mental health promotion at work

-       Attract companies to take part in the campaign and to convince them that investments in workplace mental health promotion initiatives are worthwhile.

-       Design practical measures and models for promoting mental health in workplace settings and encourage an exchange of experience in this field.
